1. Start with two explicit columns
Use Nom and Téléphone in the first row, then one contact per row. These are the column names in the French workspace: Nom means name, Téléphone means phone. The phone column is required; a name helps identify the contact and personalize a message. Avoid merged cells and decorative titles above the header row.
The downloadable example contains fictional data only. Its numbers are deliberately masked: replace them with recipients you are permitted to contact to make the rows valid. Importing a file never sends an SMS.

Contact fictif B,+2127XXXXXXXDownload the fictional CSV example (French headers) ↓2. Preserve Moroccan mobile numbers
The importer recognizes local 06… and 07…, international +2126… and +2127…, and 2126… and 2127… formats. The table normalizes numbers to 212…. This checks formatting, not whether a number exists or whether you have permission to contact it.
In Excel, format Téléphone as text before entering or pasting numbers to preserve the leading zero and plus sign. XLSX import can recover the leading zero from a numeric cell containing a nine-digit local mobile number, but text formatting remains preferable. Do not remove all zeros yourself.
3. Import and check the mapping
In Contacts, select a list and choose Importer CSV / XLSX. CSV files may use commas, semicolons or tabs. Quote fields that contain the separator and export as UTF-8 to preserve accents.
The source file is limited to 1 MB and 20 columns. The row limit depends on the capacity displayed in your workspace. Add optional columns such as Ville, Notes or a custom field to the table before import, using matching names. Check the ignored-column count: unknown columns are not created automatically.
Review the first and last rows, contact count and where each value appears. A successful import does not mean every recipient is ready. Correct incomplete or invalid rows and review flagged duplicates.
4. Review the campaign before starting
Save the list, compose your message and review personalized previews. Check required SMS units, available allowance and the plan's daily maximum. A long or Unicode message may consume two units.
Separate service updates from promotions and contact only people you are permitted to contact for that purpose. Having a number in a list is not, by itself, permission to send marketing.
To continue an interrupted operation, open the existing campaign and its recipient tracking. Creating another campaign with the same file starts a new operation; it does not resume the original one.
